I am asking any opinions on what amp i should should use with the 12W7. I can't afford a jl 1000/1. Something $400 or less. thanx (what do you think about hifonics, jbl, or Phoenix Gold.
actually, you want the JL 500/1 for that sub. the amp puts out about 667WRMS on a scope. I've benched them before. the 12W7 is rated for 750WRMS. Otherwise, look at the Kicker KX series sub amps. cheaper, and very well made.
