I bought a 12" MTX 6000 and for some reason it is popping when I increase the volume to it. It happens probably around 100 watts and it has a 300 watt RMS. First I had it in my car, then I put it on my home stereo. It is has an 8 Ohm impedence so I figured maybe it wouldnt do it when i connected to my home stereo, but it still occurs. Any suggestions?

Sorry, its not a 12" its a 15".

i have heard that the 6000's were crappy. but i am not so sure. i was thinking in the near future when i have some cash to burn, i'd bid for 1 or 2 on ebay and test them out since they're so cheap on there. maybe there's too much power going into it or the sub can't handle it.
