i use 3M super trim adhesive my box has been b!tch slaped around in my trunk and the carpet is still holding and on other boxes i have buit i have never seen the carpet come lose, and so you know you can get it in 3 types of spraying styles if you look on the back of the can at outstanding features in the list some were it says lace-like nonmisting spray that is what i use
Look for Carpet Mastic or something like that. It should come in a tub and you spread it over the box covering every inch. Works well. Dont silicone it because it will just seap into the carpet.
