anyone have any experience with JBL amps, i was looking at the JBL GTO1201.1 amp or the 600.1...gonna be running 3 12" Cerwin Vega Vmaxs at around 2.7 ohms.
do they overheat easily, i had a kenwood amp and the thing just overheated in 5 minutes in 2 channel with the gain down as low as possible, i swear the cooling for was pure aesthetics.
They are very good amps, ive had both the 600.1 and the 1200.1, the 1200.1 I was running to its max at 1 ohm for quite a while, it never overheated, worked very well.
