I just installed a Pioneer DEH-7600MP in my car, and I love it so far. I am having trouble figuring out how to use my iPod as an Auxiliary input source. I have the ipod connected to a Belkin Auto Kit for iPod w/ Dock Connector (http://catalog.belkin.com/IWCatProductPage.process?Merchant_Id=&Section_Id=20152 6&pcount=&Product_Id=149006)

I have a line out going from that Belkin Auto Connector to a P.I.E. PIO/P-RCA Pioneer P-Bus Auxiliary Input Converter (http://www.logjamelectronics.com/piepioprca1.html)

I connect the iPod through the dock connector for the Belkin auto kit. My problem is my head unit does not recognize the auxiliary source, or I can't figure out how to set it up. The manual told me to press function until I see Aux option, but I don't get that option while either on Compact Disc mode, or Tuner mode.

I know the Belkin auto kit is working because my ipod starts charging as soon as I plug it in, and the RCA cables I am using have also been tested. I emailed P.I.E before I bought the auxiliary input converter and they assured me it is compatible with the 7600MP.

Can anyone please tell me how to get the auxiliary source working?

You have to turn the headunit off by holding the source button then hold the function button for about 8 seconds then you are in the initial options.
Keep pressing the function button until you get to the aux options then I guess you just switch it to on hope that helps :-) Tom
