Slot generally runs the majority of one side of the box top to bottom. I've heard several people on here prefer slot ports, especially the ones that seem to know what they're talking about. Anonymous | Ported boxes allow for higher SPL (boom). They have single and double sub ported boxes just like there are single and double sealed boxes. What kind of sub do you have/are you planning to get? |

Anonymous | That's where the "extra" SPL comes from. Ported boxes allow the sub to be more ifficient with less power. Sealed boxes require more power to get the same response. |
