I read on an earlier post that a sub should be broken in for about 20 to 40 hours. When you say that do you mean it should be played at mid volume for 20 to 40 hours or is that just the time frame they should be played at mid volume for?
I think they meant not running a ton of watts to it, like if the sub is 500 rms, then run like 200 rms into it for a while. I'm not sure, that's just what I heard in another thread.
