Kappa Perfects work well in the recommended sealed box. I'd do the recommended 1.0 cu ft. box per sub. As far as a cheap amp, a JBL 600.1 would match nicely to those subs (A little over $200 online with full warranty, on www.sounddomain.com). I really wouldn't want to port them, they're optimized for sealed enclosures.

ok so you think that the jbl 600.1 will do. it is lacking in features (i know i really dont need them) and it is not available for a good price everywhere i have looked. what about the hifonics brutus bx 1000d

that will destroy them, a bx750d maybe or a kx600.1

a bp600.1 would be prime because its cheaper than the rest but its still an awesome amp, and you dont need subsonic filter for sealed...idk why u would hold it against that amp if ur running sealed

anyways, yea that hifonics would eat the perfects alive

max id put on them each is 400w rms

i thought the 12.1s came only in dual 4

then it would be 500w rms to each one

lol i dont know uh didnt see ur latest post b4 it...

you can wire the subs completely paralell to get a 1 ohm load, the amp puts 600w rms at 2 and 1 ohm so you'll be fine there
