Please help, I want a code for my radio A1708200186 Sn AL2199W0708440 I tried a code 63685 written on the unit but it didn't work, any clues? By the vin of the vehicle I asked Mercedes and they gave me a 4 digit number. I suppose it had a cassete Player before I buy it, thanks in advance.
Yes I tried it two times with that procedure, I can see a handwritten paper on it saying unlock OK, I guess maybe it was locked and someone flashed the eprom and propably couldn't use the default code or the default code doesn't work in combination with a different model car that's why it was unlocked to a different code for the specific Cpu . Just guessing
Yeah I would probably buy a new one, thanks a lot for your help. I tried another radio cd I had from my old smart 450 but guess what! It also has a code! I hope I ll find it in the manuals since I have sell my car with a pioneer radio cd and I had it removed and stored. Guess I am unlucky
