Hey all! I'm new to the forum, but have been messing with car audio since I got my first car. Anyway, years ago I had my first set of subs stolen from me when I was at my university, and my uncle offered me an old 12 inch sub Directed Comp X (Dual 2 Ohm Voice Coils) in a q-logic band pass box that he barely used. I bought it from him and since then I've always loved it. In general it sounded better than my old setup but occasionally it has it's quirks with certain low frequency tones.
The main reason for this post is to find out if anyone has any sources for places to find spec sheets for old subs like this. I found the manual for the q-logic box, but have only found varying numbers for the dual 4 ohm version of this sub. I'm trying to find the VAS to see if the port tubes need to be trimmed, left as is or just invest in a new box.
