Hi all, Hope this is the right place. Im retro-fitting a standard head unit into my wifes e46 with existing standard cd changer in boot. Took out aftermarket junk and sourced very good condition replacement Business radio, however when i attemptsmpt to turn it on . . -disabled- will it need re-coding to the car? I also have no code only a model/serial number PH7050 21314391 Can anybody help?

This Radio is VIN CODED to the vehicle, and does not require an additional code number.

The radio will have to be electronically linked to the vehicle electronics.

This is a job for your BMW Dealer or the cheaper option is a Radio Decoding Service
