ok i'm new to this so can someone help me out

I just bought two rockford fosgate hx2 RFD2212 12's. Could someone recommend an amp (preferably R/F)to use to power these subs?

here are the specs on the hx2's

dual 4-ohm voice coils
CONsealer gasket hides mounting screws and prevents air leaks around the frame
frequency response 26-200 Hz
power range 150-500 watts RMS (250 watts per voice coil)
peak power 1,000 watts
sensitivity 88 dB SPL

Thanks

Hey Phil the best fit for those would probably be the MTX Thunder 942 2-channel amp (940x1 bridged@4ohms).Just wire ur subs in series to make a 4 ohm impedance load and bridge them to ur amplifier and you will be bumpin.

This is the best site to get that amp for 315 bucks http://thewholesalematrix.zoovy.com/product/MTX942

if you prefer rf amps to match ur subs, then u should go for the 800@2 amps. These old skool rf amps are way better than the new ones in my opinion.
