My son recently bought a SUV that already had a Sony CDX-GT575UP head unit in it. He wanted some bass so I went and got him a lander 2.000 watt amp and a Alpine Type R 12. I'm very familiar with car audio as I've been installing systems for almost 30yrs. But his head unit is about to Pisa me off so bad I'm fixing to throw it in the driveway and run it over after I hit it with a bat several times. For the life of me I can't get the bass out of the door speakers. without it sounding like crap. I've never had a head unit that you couldn't just bypass the EQ and xplode and other sound options and have a simple bass and treble setting and High or low pass filter. Is this radio capable of that and if so HOW???
