Recently installed a Rockford Fosgate R400-4D 400 for door/rear deck speakers, wasn’t planning on adding a sub but recently decided on a Rockford Fosgate P300-10 Punch Powered Loaded 10-Inch Subwoofer Enclosure(don’t need a lot of bass, just something to give my sound a bit of bang).

Question is I ran 8 gauge wire and am wondering if I should replace it with 4 gauge and use a 4 in/8 out distribution block or if the 8g in and out will be sufficient? If the amps were more powerful I wouldn’t even question it and just run 4g.

Also should I use a dist block for the ground wire or just share the grounding point being used for current amp?

Current amp- F8&psc=1

Sub ordered- F8&psc=1
