Hi there.

I am having a clear out at my workshop and come across 5 BMW Business radios that have been removed from E36 cars. I wrote all the codes down, but for the life of me I cant find where they are. I was just wondering if anybody could help please. I would like to find them new homes as they are all in good condition. It would be a shame just to dump them.

Thank you. Well 4 out of the 5 is not bad

Do you have any suggestions on how I may be able to get a code for the 5th radio? Or can the radio be re-coded by an audio engineer?

Unfortunately restoredclassic are unable to help. They have said that I will need to go to a BMW main dealer as the code is only available from there database. Looks like this one is destined for the scrap heap then. As I am unable to prove ownership of the car. UK BMW dealerships are funny about that kind of thing. Even though I spend a fortune with them!

Thank you. I just tried there online database and it says they have the code. Although they want 15GBP for it!

I found another UK company that also have the code http://www.dndservices.co.uk But they want 20GBP

I find it strange that all 5 radios are the same model. Just different serial numbers of course. Yet this one is not on the standard database.

Still. I suppose spending 15GBP is better than putting it in the trash.

Thank you so much for all your help.
