Legacy RE Audio subwoofer - but which model??

I bought an 12" RE Sub in around 2006 (prior to them being bought out - so it's a good one) but I never got around to installing it. I finally decided to put it in my SUV but so much time has passed I can't for the life of me remember which model it is so I can select the proper enclosure. Can some of you RE Subwoofer fanatics out there help decode what I'm looking at please? I have the specs for their newer subs which suggests it's an SX but being that they changed the baskets and probably a lot of other things that's not reliable info. Now they have about twice as many models which is making me more confused since I think they had 4 models back in the day.

The basket is about 3.25" and the motor is about 3.25" as well.

You're help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Dan

Really, nobody knows what model this is? I figured with the older RE subs being exceptional in their day that one of the car audio people here would recognize this model. If not can you point me in the direction of a forum where I might have more luck finding someone in the know? If you even have a guess that would be great because I'm tying to put this thing to use and I suspect this might be the model that can only go in a ported enclosure. Please, someone help!

Definitely looks like an old SX to me. Great sub. You can get the specs here from the old RE audio website thanks to the internet archive:

Wow I've never seen that internet archive thing - that's VERY COOL! And thanks for providing that information - very useful as with those specs I can figure it out for certain. Since the SE motor size is the same I wasn't totally sure, so this is a great help!

THANK YOU!!!!

I'm having same trouble here in 2022. Same EXACT setup AND problem.

I think the link he gave you wasn't old enough.

I need these specs really really badly. (Plus it irritates me when they can take something COMPLETELY off the internet when there's so much worse than an owner manual from a company that got sold.

Someone please help with specs from when it was just the FOUR subs.

@Sean G. I suggest you contact RobotUnderground as he seems to be very knowledgeable regarding the old series subwooofers from said era. He even has a youtube vid about realigning a motor on what seems to be a V1 Re Se or SX. Best of luck and here is the info....

This is my sxx 14 d4 ohm that I bought years ago in the factory in Oklahoma, I live near Tulsa so it was pretty easy to obtain, anyways I bought this over 10 years ago so this is the original one, the one you have looks a lot newer to me l.Upload
