I saw some mtx 8000's refurbushed on ebay for cheap but are these good subs, do they pound? I already have a 1200 watt amp that im going to hook them up to but i dont want to but some thing that isnt going to hit. Ive heard good things about mtx but ive never heard these subs.
Any comments?

yesyesyes, they sound great, they probably didn't even blow up, many were refurbed because of the dust caps coming loose, i'd pay up to 180 for the pair, thats me though. good luck w/your auction.
