JVC KD-R330 wiring harness has brown wire can i just not hook it up? Also GM-4001 Harness has orange/white dimmer but nothing on the jvc to connect so do i connect to orange illumination from harness and jvc or red power?
use harness adapters and you don't need to worry about any of this. just connect the adapter harness to the radio harness as per the directions on the package, then just plug the radio into the factory car harness, and go.
If you leave wires unconnected, be sure to cap them so they don't short to metal in the dash behind the radio.
