Ok I bought an amp, but unfortunately my speakers aren't pleasing me as much as I would have liked, so Im getting new ones. I've looked into a few but just don't know which to get..
My car is a 2000 Honda Civic Sedan
Front Speakers=6.5" Back Speakers=6x9
So I am looking at the Alpine Type R Coaxials, the JBL GTO Coaxial series, Infinity Kappa Coaxial Series, or Focal Polyglass 690 CVX 6 x 9-Inch Coaxial Speaker(ONLY FOR 6x9).
I know Focals are good, but I want a really well rounded system but I don't want to pay too much. So please help me decide which speakers to get. Also if you can think of better speakers that are within the $120 range for each pair, please suggest away
P.S. Im looking for speakers that offer the best sound quality, but also have a good amount of bass.
If you want good sound quality and bass place 6.5 components or decent coaxials with adapters plus a 10" sub in the trunk both amped with a 4 channel amp.
6x9 do not excel at either category.
Powering the speakers with a head unit also limits both sound quality and bass.
