So I had a crapy boss 5000 that fried a couple weeks ago and I never really liked it cause it didnt hit any of the lows that I like. I have 2 12 inch mtx thunder squares. can someone give me a list of some good amps for a fairly good price that would make these babies hit hard
To be honest, most of the problem with what you describe sounds more like you needing to get better quality subs (I'm not a fan of MTX, and I despise square subs for a number of design reasons) and even more importantly, an enclosure that is more suited to your needs. I'd personally go with a ported box, tuned to around 28-35Hz range.
As for amplifiers though, if you want something good, look at the Audioque AQ1200D or 2500D
