Hi, this is my first post on this forum and I'm crossing my fingers that someone can help -
I recently bought a 2000 Nissan Almera fitted with a Clarion Stereo/cassette player which worked fine until I had to change the ECU, it was only after doing this that the stereo dislpays waiting for about 10 seconds then displays Secure. I am led to believe that the stereo is married to the cars ECU (Stupid Idea), I am wondering if anyone can help to restore the stereo to factory settings or at least by-pass the secure display, or even how can I marry it to the new ECU?
I also do not have the code for this stereo either

Stereo System Details:
Nissan Part No. 28113 BN 314
Model No. PN 1628M
Serial No. CL0394Y0035801
Clarion Part No. 286-9249-21

Many Thanks
Mike
