I recently purchased a second hand Opel Vivaro Van from a reputable dealer, which unfortunately came with a faulty VDO CD413 Radio CD Player. The CD player unit did not work but only found this out after a few days of ownership. The Dealer offered to fix the CD Player rather than replacing it. I got the Deck back now but noticed that the CD player does not play any MP3 Cds. It plays only standard CD music disks.!! Can anyone tell me if this CD player on the VDO CD 413 Deck is supposed to play MP3 and or any other media formats? My concern is that the repairman just threw in any cd player unit he could get hold of as he said, he replaced the whole inner cd player mechanism including the laser unit. Now it does not play MP3. I would greatly appreciate any advices.
