Help w/ sub box and DVC wiring

Anonymous
I have 2 dual voice subs and need a box for them..
First, how do I wire them from the amp to the speaker connectors for a parallel setup? Also, would I need to use a single chamber box for both subs so i can wire them correctly? I do not think a chambered box would work..
Thank u!

Hey buddy u have to tell me more that u got 2 dvc subs what are the ohms on them and ur amp.
Here is a diagram that shows u how to wire ur subs in Parallel.http://jlaudio.com/subwoofer/pdfs/12W3_MAN.pdf

Thankful dude
Thanks for responding...
I have an xplod 1000w 2/1 channel amp thats stable to 2 ohm. My DVC's are 2ohm each. I went to rockford's Wiring Wizard on how to connect them and got real confused. since i have a +/- for the left channel and +/- for the right channel, do i run speaker wire from the + on the left channel or right and vice versa for -.

But is this a mono load or stereo load since it only takes wire from either +/- from either channel?
Then, am i right when say that I need jumper wire for the subs themselves to connect the + of one coil to the - of the other?
boggles my mind sometimes.. Thanks Hydro, hope u can shed some bright light!

no certain name
are you saying that you have a monoblock amp stable at 2 ohms when you say 2/1 channel amp??

Thankful dude
It's a 2 channel amp, but its bridgeable, hence the 1

Ok this is an easy one wire ur subs in SERIES not in parallel and this will make a 2 ohm impedance and ur amp is 2 ohm stable heres a diagram this one should work.
