a class T amp is essentially the same as a class D.
class T is designed usually to be capable of working full-range as opposed to strictly bass frequencies. Joao summed it up pretty susinctly.
Avionixx amps are more or less class-D, just built a bit better design-wise for the topology.

Class t amps are designed with a digital powersupply making them as efficient as a class D amp with the signal quality of a class AB amp.

This allows for a very high quality signal output without sacrificing the wasted power and heat produced by class AB amps.

Great for hooking up to subs like class D amps, or any mids and highs like class AB amps.

You can find out more from people who realy know their stuff on clubknowledge.com It's free and you get unbiased advice. That's where I found out about this amp and I've loved having it ever since.
