Joao summed it up pretty susinctly. Avionixx amps are more or less class-D, just built a bit better design-wise for the topology. |

This allows for a very high quality signal output without sacrificing the wasted power and heat produced by class AB amps. Great for hooking up to subs like class D amps, or any mids and highs like class AB amps.
