Advice for European Buying American Alpine Head Unit

Hi, I am think about buying an Alpine 9833 in the US because the price in Ireland is criminal. Are there any connection problems such as connectors(I am presuming all ISO)between european cars (Mini Cooper) and Us models. Also what is the story with the additional power requirement. Regards G
Essnetially you should have no problems installing this assuming that you have a single din ISO head unit installation area. I'm not to familiar with the coopers, although I've seen a few, and they are quite neat.
Other than that, everything should match up just nicely. All there really is is the speaker wires, (which can be soldered by advance installers) and the power, ground, rca's, remote, etc which are all quite universal to most cars.
