Im going to order a single Fi Audio BL 15 Fully Loaded, the sub pushes 1000 RMS so im looking for a good/cheaper amp that will supply that. The problem is that my budget is 700 total for the amp sub wiring kit and box, i plan on building my own box and the sub costs 380 shipped so that leaves me 320 for everything else. Ive been looking everywhere online but every time i find something that fits my budget i look for reviews and they aren't all that great. So im wondering if someone could help me out please! I haven't ordered the sub yet so im open to all suggestions, i just want my system to hit hard! I listen to rap/heavy bass music as well and plan on using it daily if that helps. Thanks for looking!

Look for something with 100 or higher signal to noise ratio. And as low THD as you can find so like .5 or lower. Soundstream amps are cheap and qaulity that way you can get a good wiring kit. Go to sonic electonixs.com and go to amps and narrow the search. Because you really didn't give me enough info or I would do it. Like is that 1000 combined? And what Ohm level? How you wiring it? Are they dual 4ohm voice coils? Or 2?

Thank you for posting! and its a single sub so the total rms is 1000, and i would be getting the 1 ohm dual voice coils. Sorry if i cant provide you with all the right info im kinda new to the whole car audio stuff, but ill check out the website you gave, thanks again!

Ok sorry I was just assuming with that much rms it was 2. And you'll probably just want to get a mono amp imo. The website I told you should make finding an Amp very easy and I'm new also so don't worry about it. You provided enough info now I just didn't know the ohm level or I could've given you some better ideas. But you should look for yourself

Hey Austin, the Fi Audio BL 15 you mentioned has the option to be either DVC 1 Ohm or DVC 2 Ohm. Just like you stated, the RMS Rating is 1000 Watts RMS.

If you are only intending on purchasing one of these, I would recommend purchasing the DVC 2 Ohm version. This way, you will be able to wire the Subwoofer in Parallel to create a 1 Ohm Load.

With this said, you will be wanting to look for an amplifier that can produce 1000 Watts RMS at 1 Ohm. Here are a few examples of amplifiers that you can look into that should be within your price range:

1. AQ1200D ($269.00):

2. Hifonics HFi1500D ($189.99):

3. PowerBass Xtreme XTA-1000D ($299.99):

4. MTX RFL1200D ($289.99)

5. RE Audio XTX3000.1 ($319.99)

These are just a few examples. There are many more out there, and as you can see, the prices do vary between brands. I have personally used and dealt with all of these brands in the past. I am currently used the AQ1200D that I listed above with my current setup, and I would recommend that over anything else here.
