Polyfill in a Bandpass Box? Help!

ok... so i've gotten my 17th b-day present which includes 2 Pioneer TS-W305Cs (400rms x1), 1 Pioneer GM-5000T (190 x2 @4 ohm), and a bandpass box:

now i'm not expecting block rocking loudness with this underpowered set... but i read that by adding polyfill, it'll make the box seem larger than it really is, making the sound naturally boomier. now the question is... would it make a difference if i add polyfill to a bandpass box?? or is that stuff just for the sealed boxes? thx!

You don't need to put polyfill in a bandpass box because it will affect the ports. I have ONLY done that with sealed boxes. That bandpass box is going to hit hard anyway so why worry??

bandpass boxes tend to hit harder then sealed and ported but personally, ported is my favorite...seeing as there is no such thing as a bandpass box for my 12" L5's
