I recently purchased a pair of JL 13w6's along with the JL 1000/1 amp for 1700.00, is this a good deal? Also what can I expect to hit with that setup and the right box in my 98' blazer?
I dont know but i think that i could have found it a bit cheaper, mabey by a couple $100 or so. But i tell you you will be satisfied with that set up, its gonna hit good.

thanks for your help. Will the pair of 13W6v2's with the 1000/1 be louder then a single 13W7 with the 1000/1? And can anybody tell me what i will hit in my vehicle with each setup?
I would imagine that it would be louder because there is 2. But i wouldnt under estimate the power of a W7. With JL you cant go wrong even with W0's. You will be very happy. Just make sure you have the right box (size).
