Hey Everyone. New to the site and to vehicle audio - Needing some assistance. Just purchased a sub box with two SoundStorm SLK12 shallow subs in it - 1000w, 500 rms, 4 ohm. I have a Kenwood KDC-X993 Headunit (4X50) with Memphis 6.5, separate tweeters, in the doors and Memphis 4x6 in the rear pilars. Not looking to power the speakers just the subs. What type amp would I best utilize? I listen most to Rock, Jazz, and, when my son has it - screamo???????? Currently the Memphis speakers are giving NO BASS at all and it sucks - The Subs are not yet connnected.
