hey guys i have a basic knowledge of car audio but idk what amp would be best suited for 2 re audio sex 12d4 or 12d2?!! i was looking into hifonics or maybe a kicker zx1500.1?... i just wana spend around 750-1000 on a decent system and ive heard a lot of good about re audio.. i just dunno about the amp :/
Kicker is a better amplifier! I think that Kicker amp is only stable at 2 ohms though so, if you go with that amp you would want to get the dual 2 ohm coils. Wire the subs in series to give you a 2 ohm load at the amplifier.
2 se 12 d4s on a aq 2200 keep the signal clean and an open nose for burning voice coil and youll be fine i ve ran a s stream dtr 2200 and a us amps md3d on a pair of se 12s with no problem no smelling ya just gotta know what your doing so 300 for se12s and 389 shipped for the aq2200 meets your budget but if ya wanna go alittle cheaper their is ss dtr 2200 for 299 or hifonics brz 2100 299 possibilities are endless
