Bridging of JBL P80.4 amp

I am planning to buy a JBL P80.4 amp and one 12" GT120 subwoofer(single voice coil at 4ohm). I want to know whether i can bridge the output of 160x2 @ 4ohms to my sub woofer which is of 250 watts RMS to get higher output. And how much power can I expect from the amp after bridging. I want to know what should be the impedence of the sub (should it be 4 or 8 ohm as I am bridging the amp) as I want to bridge the amp at 4 ohms into one cable to provide power for only for one subwoofer. Is this amp sufficient to provide enough power for the sub of 1000 watts peak(250RMS) after bridging.
