If I reverse mount a sub, do I need to adjust the "phase" knob on the amp? I've never done a reverse mount before so I really have no clue. Its a sundown amp, so would I turn the phase all the way up, for 180, or somewhere abouts in the middle?

actually all you have to do is reverse the polarity, that phase knob is for staging. for example if you have subs mounted in diff places of the car.unless its a phase switch instead of a knob, then inverting the sub would be what thats for.

I think my head unit has the option on it. If it doesn't how do I reverse the polarity?

I googled it and apparently I run the positive from the amp to the negative on the sub, and then the negative from the amp to the positive on the sub. Correct?
