I want to use 4 bolts to connect both voice coils to my enclosure, then from there run out to the amp. I think this will look nice plus let me change the impedance of the sub, without having to take the sub out of the enclosure. What bolts would be best for this? I went to Lowes but didn't see what I was looking for.

McMasterCarr has some. The only thing is, you have to buy the items in packs which is way more expensive than it needs to be. You can go to their site and find almost anything you're looking for when it comes to bolts. I'm still undecided on exactly what I'm going to use.

Stick w/ brass or aluminum.

Also, I can't remember the name of the part, but Lowe's carries a set-screw type terminal used in house electrical boxes what you can put on the outside of you box w/ a bolt though it (using the terminal as a washer) that will let you change wiring quickly.

I used them in this build w/ 2 IA20.1's w/ bolts thru the box. you can see the jumper-wire's i used link the terminals. IIRC, they were aluminum terminals w/ set screws that easily fit 2-8ga wires.

I'll look around on Lowe's site to find them for ya.

There you go.

They are similar to that, but the one's I got had the set-screw on the other side.

Makes changing wiring on the fly from outside the box VERY easy.

EDIT!!!!!

Also, w/ any aluminum bolt/terminal you buy.....SAND THEM before installing, and lubricate. Aluminum oxidizes rapidly, so if they have been sitting around in a bin at the store for awhile they are likely oxidized. When you install them, coat them w/ something. Even a simple coat of petroleum jelly will help ALOT to prevent oxidation. (hell, i have used Crisco from the kitchen on battery terminals)

Edit....EDIT...
Sand every connection.....oxidation is a bish.
