Well im finally doing a long overdue alternator upgrade and I was wondering who I should buy a high output alternaor from. Im not trying to spend a fortune here, but so far ive found a direct fit replacement from powerbastards (240A, $289), and mechman has a direct fit replacement too. (250A, $399)
I want something that will reach its max amps under 2000rpm. I drive a 1996 Buick Lesabre, so the rev limiter is only 4000rpm in neutral.
