anyone be interrested in a hifonics 2610d or shocker sig 12 with box? just trying to gage any interrest in them. might sell them might not all depends.
I'll trade you all three of those for my blown 2005 RE XXX 12 D2. I doubt you'll go for it though. I want to trade it for (all), deck, sub, sub amp, box. Even if they're lower level shizzle, I havn't had bass since 2007.
lower level? the shocker sig used to hold world records back in the early 2000's, honestly a sig in a good box would crush a xxx spl wise. would love to have that xxx though xbl^2 ftw.
not a big fan of most of it, too talkie in the songs, but the lyrics and beats are good. I prefer some of the dark lotus stuff. Ive been listening to the remix of headahce all week...Like for hours straight..kinda soothing...check it out in the OT section..Its funny, after listening to alot of thier stuff, it seems like the are almost christen rock type..

Sonicelectronics has a "bass package" for $340 (free shipping), it comes with 2 Kenwood KFC 10's (300W RMS each), 1.56 cube sealed box, MTX 600W @ 2ohm, and an amp wiring kit. All I'll need is a 50W X 4CH deck and some cheap 6.5's. Should I replace the stock tweeters also?
I really don't want to sell it, although I havn't had a system in a long time and I'd settle for atleast a little bass. I've considered all options for lots of output but it's a schnitzle load of money.
2 sealed LMS Ultra 18's in the trunk sealed off/foreward fire on 10K 2 ported BTL 15's (9 @ 35) in the trunk sealed off/foreward fire on 4-6K 1 ported BTL 12 (3 @ 30) in the trunk sealed off/foreward fire on 2-3K 6 sealed Eclipse SW8210 12's behind the front seats/up fire - FC @ 28 HZ on 4.5K
For 2 18's or 2 15's, I would cut the cabin-trunk opening.
The visible seam is held together by little welds, which look like they could be ripped apart with a screw driver & hammer. I'd cut to the top of the rear deck, dunno how. I certainly wouldn't do it, I'd mess it up. It yields a 21 H x 38 W square cut-out, which are the maximum dimensions. 21" is the very top of the trunk, and all of the trunk-lid tension-bars that run across the width of the top of the trunk would have to be ripped out. I'd weld the trunk shut, and seal the trunk off from the top of the rear deck to the floor. Box depth would be to the end of the top of the rear deck inside the cabin, about 30". 36 x 19 x 27 (2" baffle) is 10.6875 cubes.
Sadly, not many sweet 18's in 5 cubes sealed have a QTC @ .707 + FC @ 30 HZ. None that I can recall, and I've modeled a lot. The good ones are RE XXX 30ish HZ, RE MX 30ish HZ, Exodus Maelstrom 25-30ish HZ, Soundsplinter RL-P and RL-S, and Kicker Solo-X D1 @ 38 HZ.
The LMS Ultra 18 QTC is flat in like 2 cubes lol so at 5 cubes the QTC is at like .4 so maybe it struggles on the higher frequencies. It's a low-end monster that seems like it wouldn't give a schnitzle about a roll off.
