alright im planning on buying two kicker s15l7 solo-barics and im wondering should i get the 2 ohms or 4 ohms and im also looking for an really good amp to push these speakers

i was looking at an audiobahn a2300hct but i would also like to know how to run them so i get the 2400 @ 1 ohms power this is going in the back of a discovery II so i mean i have alot of room for everything just wondering thx guys

sry i mean the 1200 @ 1 ohms stereo i guess is what it would run as?

Jake, depends on which amp you want.
If the amp you want is stable at 4 ohms mono then get the 4-ohm subs.
If the amp you want is stable at 2 ohms mono then get the 2-ohm subs.
If the amp you want is stable at 1 ohm mono then get the 4-ohm subs.
If the amp you want is stable at 0.5 ohm mono then get the 2-ohm subs.
The lower the resistance (ohm rating) the more power you make but the more power the amp requires (and the more heat it generates, etc..)
