I am building a ported box for 2 kicker l7 12 and have this 2400 watt amp. Don't know much about it, just wondering if anyone has any good or bad things to say about it or volfenhaug in general...
Volfenhagg is one of the cheapest, worst amps made. I don't believe they are in business anymore, but that 2400 watt print is a lie. It probably produces, in reality, closr to maybe 200 watts x 2. You'll want a mono amp to drive those L7s, like an Audioque AQ1200D ($249 shipped @ www.audioque.com) or a similar product. Sundown is also good, as is Kicker's own amplifiers. You'll want about 750-1200 watts per sub.
