i currently have 2 planet audio tq120dvc subs dual 4 ohm voice coils. i have them wired for 4 ohms on a mono block amp, today i purchased a third one and wired it to 2 ohms in its own box on its own amp, its connected to a TMA 360.2 amp, but when i hook up the third sub all my subs get really quiet, can anyone tell me why this is? is it because of the ohms being different? any help is appreciated thanks in advanced.

no. nothing to do with the load. how is the signal getting to both sub amps? does one have a line level pass-through? did you use a Y splitter on the RCA lines?

the rcas from my cd deck are ran into the inputs on the TMA amp, then i have another set of rcas cables that run from the TMA output to the other amps inputs, both amps work fine i have tested both of them so i know both are getting signal
