Tell him how big a difference having a tuned and custom ported box is vs a sealed box expeccialy for this sub and him wanting it super loud... i already know the answer

And thats even MORE true with a DD sub... they are designed to perform well in a certain box... there is a reason DD does not recommend sealed for any application.
