Well, you are only going to be able to get a 1 or 4-ohm load from that sub. If you had 2 of them you could wire them for a 2-ohm load though. Here are a few of suggestions, but I'm not sure if these amps are 1-ohm stable:

Alpine MRP-M500 - 300W RMS @ 4-ohms
Eclipse XA1200 - 350W RMS @ 4-ohms
JL Audio J2 500.1 - 340W RMS @ 4-ohms
Rockford Fosgate PRIME R500-1 - 320W RMS @ 4-ohms

They all make decent power at 4-ohms(enough to push your SWR-1221D) , and are under $200 on most websites.

Okay, thanks alot i appreciate it, hat helped me out a bit. I was looking at the m500 and thought it seemed to be good enough for the sub, and i thought i heard from someone that the alpine MRP-m500 was only 2 and 8 ohm stable but i guess i heard wrong? Thanks

* Per channel into 4 ohms: 300W x 1 (0.08% THD)
* Per channel into 2 ohms: 500W x 1
