Are you looking to just carpet 1 box, or quite a few?

If only one or 2, use the 3m spray.

Wanna carpet a few boxes?
Do you have an air compressor?

Go to Lowes, get a cheap siphon feed latex paint gun, and a gallon of WeldWood contact adhesive. (original, not the gel). The gun will be ~$45, the gallon of glue glue will be ~$35. So, for ~$80n you will have to tool/glue to carpet around 8-12 medium size boxes....A hell of alot cheaper than those $18 cans of 3m glue, and the Weldwood allows for longer work-time on your seams.

Hell, I buy the cheap Kobalt latex sprayers and they usually last me ~6-8months at the shop w/out ever cleaning them....lol
