Looking to get a new 10" sub, as my Fosgate punch has recently died due to old age. I'm looking in Kicker, Pioneer, and Xplod subs, but I'm not sure which one would be better, although I have an all Pioneer system currently, minus the subwoofer. I've heard good and bad things about all three so any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Are you stuck on one of those 3 brands? Cause there much better subs out there. Whats your budget?

I'm honestly not stuck on them, but I'm not looking to break the bank. Ideally around if not a little bit more than $100.

o god lol. u might wanna save up more $... even if it takes a month, cause ur gonna regret if you buy something cheap just to get by then decide later to sell it for less and get something better...you dont wanna learn the hardway.

X plod is garbage. Pioneer subs arent that great. Kicker is overrated.

I wouldnt buy from these 3 but thats just me.

You can get an alpine 10" type r for around your budget off of ebay. These are greeat well built subs and last forever. Sony subs are just garbage. Do not buy. Im sure your local bestbuy or walmart tech nerd who dosn't know sh.it about car audio will try and convince you otherwise. Dont be fooled by mainlined store brands that are over marketed , overpriced and under quality.

Alright, so Alpine is going to be my best bet then I suppose. I was only looking at Kicker because Crutchfield is having a buy one get one free sale, so if I could get a buddy of mine to buy the other one I'd get a free sub. What kind of amp should I be looking to power that bad boy? It requires a lot of power for a 10" subwoofer.

How about this, it's only 500 Watts at 2 ohms, but it's a pretty good price.
