got a question, will underground companys(fi,ssa, tc counds, etc) stuff go down in pricing in the future because of the economy and basially since more and more of the subs look basically the same and just copy each other, so that would mean there will be competition for pricing.

Agreed.

In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if the mentioned brands actually go up in price as time goes on. Especially as word spreads of their superior quality & value over mainstream brands.

TC a year or two ago doubled their pricing.

THAT'S a helluva jump.

In the end tho, through a recession, like any industry they have to rely on their size to absorb their losses. The bigger companies will have to downsize but will ultimately survive. The smaller ones will be forced to merge with a competitor, sell or perish. The market won't vanish but those strong enough to withstand the storm will ultimately absorb the market share of those fallen.

Oddly with less competition comes price gouging. Once the economy stabilizes it will restore itself.

Talent and contacts will eventually resurface to maintain balance.

Slower US economy will = less value in the US Dollar.

So....foreign economies can follow suit and ride the demise of the USD, or....demand more USD for their labor. Nationally, that will mean higher prices for product. Globally, that will mean LOWER value in the USD!!!!!!

Its a vicious cycle, and only a stronger US production economy will remedy it.
