You could try emailing restoredclassic@aol.com to see if they have any suggestions (Mention this Forum) Otherwise your only option now is a Decode Service who will electronically read your memory chip (EEPROM) for the code.

I was able to verify its accuracy against two other BP radios in Holdens for which I had the codes. Once satisfied that it seemed accurate, I took a punt on the code it gave me (I was running out of chances to enter codes) and it worked perfectly. The code was 1679 I did try to remove my request for help, to save you the hassle, but was denied permission to do so. Thanks for trying to help - greatly appreciated. Ken

I have found in the past that some of these Australian Holden Blaupunkts can be awkward to decode as they depend on the model and also where they were made. You are lucky as all your collection must use the Standard BP Code Calculator (that is used here in the UK + Europe ) but there are at least 4 or 5 alternatives , including one group that require 5 digit codes (like the USA models). I know that the email contact I quoted have all the variations of these calculators (I do not ) so it saves time by contacting them directly as they are always willing to help.(usually within a few hours )

If the {station +} button does not work at the end , then try the other buttons such as ^ v <> 5 etc and one of them should work (providing the code is correct ) ============================================== Turn on the radio, the display will show 'COD' Pressing any station pre-set key will display '000' Press preset [ 1 ] repeatedly for the first digit followed by [ station + ] Press preset [ 2 ] repeatedly for the second digit followed by [ station + ] Press preset [ 3 ] repeatedly for the third digit followed by [ station + ] Press preset [ 4 ] repeatedly for the fourth digit followed by [ station + ] Finally press the [ station + ] button to save.

To reset, leave SWITCHED ON...UNDISTURBED for as long as it takes to automatically reset itself. This may take several hours . Then LEAVE SWITCHED ON ....UNDISTURBED until it resets The important bit is UNDISTURBED because if it gets interrupted , then the timing starts all over again I reckon that if it shows SAFE7 then it should reset itself within an hour or so

Perhaps you are using the wrong code entry instructions? Have a look through the link I quoted as there are a large range of different instructions.(even though yours is not listed) http://www.radio-code.co.uk/code-entry-help-Blaupunkt-1.htm As it is an Aussie Holden , then it might pay you to enquire locally for your instructions, either at a Holden Dealer or an Aussie Motor Forum. If you do find the correct instructions , then let me know (for future reference)
