Hi, I've recently had my clutch changed on my car and obviously the battery had to be disconnected. The radio now needs a code and I have had a look in the paper work and no keycode has been wrote down.. Great! I have rang Ford and they want to charge me an extortionate rate to get the keycode. I have tried everything so far. The serial number for the CD 6000 is V062298. A lot of replies I am getting is that V series codes have to be obtained from the Ford dealers. Can anyone help please???
I have contacted restoredclassic and it was the same response RE main dealers. Must say though, restoredclassic were great and I got an immediate reply from them.
Looks like I will have to be ringing around a few main dealers next week and try to get the code for free...
