Looking at some subs for my brother's car now.. First of all... Anyone have any experience with AudioPulse subs? very expensive though... But are they mainly an SPL line? Looking particularly at the REVO 10" sub but i think it's mainly SPL.. idk.. So looking into ordering another system but for my brother this time.. He wants 3 10's. i dont know if he's decided on ported or sealed. Wants mainly sq, but still to get fairly loud. Some 10's we were looking into were the Fi Q, Fi SSD, iDmax, iDQ, SSA icon. Any other great 10" sq subs? Also if you were to answer, any suggestions on an amp to push them around 1500-2500 rms..

why 3 10's, why not just 2 12's? or even 1 15

Lol i previously had 2 10" w6v2's in a sealed box, they weren't really that loud though.. So he wants to go with 3 10's. He likes 10" subs. budget is no more than $2500.

Fi Q... I have two 10" of those and they sound great, 3 should be pretty loud also.

thanks M.S we were leaning more towards the Fi Q's.. Does anyone know how much louder the Q's are than the w6's? both the 2 w6's i had were running off of about 700-900 rms. And with each Q i think he wants to run about 800 rms to each of them.

from what ive heard go with the q's but i would look into 12s should drop down lower frequencies and be louder than what 10s would be.
i honestly dont like the w6 a waste of money jls w3v3s are much better and about half price of the w6s.
dont go with dd either not going to give you the sq you want.
with that 2500 budget 2 12'' qs will be around 320 each with the right options so thats 640 shipped and look into a sundown saz-2000d i think they are around 800 new or less either way thats plenty of money for an ho alt to power the amp

i hear way too many problems with the idmax subs, i hear they sound amazing but break too easily, nobody wants to spend all that money and end up with broken subs. fi is the way to go

or if you want better sq than the q look at re's xxx but thats much much more for 12s..
