It rocks. This is what my page looks like with it running: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v346/illuminator321/noads.jpg?t=1275008485 |

It's also a fact of life. You can choose to switch browsers but eventually E will find a way to still infiltrate your computer with BS you don't want. It's the nature of the beast. It's what pays the bills. It won't go away. Either accept it it or move along. That's the message we've always got in the past. Um....sorry. |

Diamond Member Username: WingmanaliveWww.stainles... .ecrater.com Post Number: 22845 Registered: Jun-06 | Yup. What pays $$ takes priority. Someone somewhere is actively thinking up an ad campaign involving the moon and a message visible from Earth. Sad really. |

Gold Member Username: The_image_dynamicSan Diego, California Post Number: 5748 Registered: Dec-06 | This website makes around $5500 a month from ad revenue and click throughs etc. which is dick for a site with this many page views and sites linking in. Numbers are also down across the board so they are just scrambling to see what particular ad types get the most clicks. |

Moderator Username: AdminPost Number: 7748 Registered: Dec-03 | I agree, the auto expanding ads that overlay content are a nuisance. I've set them to appear less often and contacted the advertising agency to change them. |
Platinum Member Username: Insearchofbass2 hifonics 2607s, 2dcSounds12xls SPL\idmax12SQ Post Number: 14193 Registered: Jun-04 | you should do away with them totally....the expanding ads |
Silver Member Username: Gcs8Atlanta, Ga Post Number: 505 Registered: Sep-09 | @admin, i am cool with ads, servers are not cheep and neather is bandwidth at about 8$ a meg. but dident we kill off popup's back in 2000? |
Platinum Member Username: GlasswolfPost Number: 13712 Registered: Dec-03 |
seriously. 4chan makes about twice that much per month on ads if I recall, and moot barely breaks even on bandwidth costs with that money. Sites aren't cheap to run. |
