im looking at buying two 12W3 speakers, but when i shopped, i saw they had dual 4 ohm or dual 6 ohm? what does this mean and which is better? i plan to also hook these subs to a 500/1 amp. is this enough? if so, how do i wire them properly?

The dual 6-ohm subs were designed so people could run three subs and end up with a 4-ohm mono load for the amp.
If you want to run two subs, get the dual 4-ohm versions...
