alright, i started a box today for a friend. its for 2 12's and he wanted another bandpass.

can u guys give me some idea's on this one? how would you make it?

4th order, tune it for about 40-45Hz.
It'll have terrific gain.

man that page was pretty confusing for me, lol. i guess im just way over my head on this one.

could you draw up a design for me? i understand if that's a no.

buy the way glass, that slot ported enclosure for that single orion 12 turned out great. thanks for the help on that one.

tell ya what, google "bass box pro download" and "winISD download"

get both of those programs and give them a try set for 4th order BP.

See how that works. I don't have anything handy for designing a box right now. I'd have to hand draw it, and I gave away my drafting table when I moved. The software will show a response curve though, based on volumes for sealed and ported sides of the box. Find a curve you like. you'll notice that you'll be trading off between low frequency response (being more musical) and high output gain (tuned higher for "one-note" SPL response)

That's pretty much how 4th order goes. If you want a flat, musical response, you can get it, but by then you may as well just go ported..

ok glass, thanks again for the info. i'll give those programs a try and see if i can figure these BP box's out, lol
