According to the specs of that particular sub woofer, your are going to want your box to be about 1.2 cubic feet sealed. You will probably want to go with a bigger battery than the hc1800 and get a high output alt, seeing as how that Hifonics bxi2600 can be a bit power hungry. Do not forget to have "The big 3" done, as this will significantly help stabilize voltage drop. I am by no means an expert, maybe some of the more knowledgeably guys will weigh in shortly to help.

I was about to mention that. the first gen RE XXX was an XBL^2 motor sub. The generations after that one are not.

if you want more bass port that 12" and switch to an amp that will put out a true 2000rms

oh and my car is a 2002 chevy malibu. i used to have 2 L7 15's.. was really loud but bad sq of course. then i had 2 12 L7 in trunk and one L5 15 in car it was pretty loud. as of right now i have 2 10" w6's they arent near anywhere to the loudness i want.. so i've had spl subs, now i want mostly all sq but i want the bass to be really loud also. so thats why im thinkin maybe 2 re xxx or 2 or 3 of some type subs.. i just want my new setup to be alot louder and cleaner than my previous ones..
